Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has issued a message congratulating Christians on the occasion of the birth of Jesus Christ, extending his wishes to Christians in Iran and across the world.
The president published the message in English on his personal account on the social media platform X.
"On the blessed occasion of Christmas, I extend my warmest greetings to Christians in Iran and around the world," he wrote.
"Jesus Christ (PBUH) is revered in our tradition as a messenger of compassion, justice, and mercy. May his timeless message inspire dignity and peace among all nations."
